Why ASX needs its own research
Many AI stock tools were built US-first. ASX stocks come with their own ticker conventions, trading calendar, currency and disclosure rules. A tool that treats an ASX code as a US ticker can give you the wrong company or no data at all. Atradian covers ASX companies directly, and prices are shown in A$.
What Atradian covers for the ASX
- ASX 200 constituents in the scored universe.
- Daily bars, technicals and charts in A$, with SMA 50/200 and RSI 14 on each symbol page.
- Price-sensitive announcement briefs, summarising material ASX announcements so you can see what changed.
- Alerts for ASX insider buys reported on Appendix 3Y, alongside earnings-date and price-move alerts.
- Portfolio monitoring for ASX holdings, imported by CSV, screenshot or paste.
How ASX disclosure shapes research
ASX-listed companies must disclose price-sensitive information to the market under continuous disclosure rules. That means announcements arrive throughout the trading day, not only with results. Treating an announcement as an input, and checking how the price responded, is a practical habit for ASX research.
Limits
Coverage is index-based, so smaller ASX companies outside the ASX 200 may not be scored. Atradian is built around daily research, not intraday trading. Check the reliability page for known gaps and how they are handled.
